SUPERVISORS AND CREW POSITIONS
ECOllaboration is seeking enthusiastic individuals for Supervisory and Crew positions to assist in bush regeneration activities throughout the broader Sunshine Coast region.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Liaise with the Natural Areas Manager and Supervisors re requirements and activities
- Natural area management and revegetation
- Undertake bush regeneration with the use of chemical and manual activities and the use of power tools and hand tools and have good knowledge of techniques used for efficient and effective work.
- Operate and maintain plant and equipment
- Ensure daily reporting activities are completed
- Ensure workplace health and safety, quality and environmental management standards and company policy are adhered to.
SELECTION CRITERIA
- Certificate III or above in Conservation, Horticulture or other relevant qualification
- Native and exotic/invasive plant ID skills
- Construction White Card
- Current ACDC Licence
- Chainsaw Level 1 or 2 Licence
- Manual drivers licence and ability to start work on site in own vehicle
- A willingness to be a proactive and positive team member
- Ability to take direction and report on delivery of tasks
- Ability to use field reporting tools such as tablets and iPads
- Ability to work outside and in rough terrain
- Teamwork communication skills.
ECOllaboration also provides Community-based training, curriculum-based education and environmental monitoring programs as well as running a long-standing river clean-up operation.
