Toolijooa Environmental Restoration is a leading provider of environmental management, restoration and consultancy services throughout the greater Sydney region and beyond, aiming to carry out best practice ecological management and restoration works in order to achieve our clients’ goals of maintaining and re-establishing sustainable, diverse and characteristic natural ecosystems.

We are looking to employ Casual staff to work on landscape construction (including track construction) and bush regeneration projects within the Greater Sydney area. Work is focussed on Natural Area Restoration, working within bushland including national parks. There is the opportunity to work remotely in regional areas on some projects.

To be considered for this role you will ideally have experience in both landscape construction work as well as bushland restoration to meet the following criteria:

• Landscape or bushland track construction experience (eg sandstone step construction, timber boxed step construction, track path construction, bridge building, fencing). A TAFE qualification in landscaping or similar is desirable, though not essential.
• Experience using power tools, petrol machines and other construction equipment
• Bushland restoration experience including revegetation, weed control and other bush regeneration techniques. A qualification in Conservation and Land Management or a willingness to complete this training is desirable
• A passion for the Australian bush and native plants.
• Physically fit and willing to work in remote locations
• The General Construction Induction Card (White Card) and AQF3 Chemical Accreditation Certificate
