The introduced soil-borne water mould Phytophthora is a major threat to native vegetation in Western Australia. The Phytophthora Dieback disease is widespread and has the potential to kill approximately 40 per cent of WA’s diverse native flora and severely disrupt ecosystem services.

Due to increased projects, the company has positions for trainees to learn Phytophthora Dieback mapping. Following the successful completion of the training program, full-time positions may be offered.

 Applicants must be able to demonstrate a commitment to:

• Working in the diverse native flora of Western Australia.
• Working safely.

 You must possess a current WA Driver’s license (Manual).

 It would be preferable if you:

• Are fit.
• Have knowledge or interest in native flora.
• Possess report writing and GIS skills.
