The introduced soil-borne water mould Phytophthora is a major threat to native vegetation in Western Australia. The Phytophthora Dieback disease is widespread and has the potential to kill approximately 40 per cent of WA’s diverse native flora and severely disrupt ecosystem services.
Glevan Consulting are based in North Dandalup and are Australia’s largest and longest-operating consultant specialising in Phytophthora Dieback mapping and management services.
Due to increased projects, the company has positions for trainees to learn Phytophthora Dieback mapping. Following the successful completion of the training program, full-time positions may be offered.
