Nature Advisory is a team of consultants working in the specialised area of flora, fauna and native vegetation impacts. We help our clients to meet the expectations of decision-makers by doing technically robust studies that inform ecologically sustainable outcomes. We are one of Australia’s leading wind farm bird and bat impact assessment consultants working on a variety of projects throughout eastern Australia.

We are seeking Casual Zoologists for field investigations of wind farms in central New South Wales (ideally based in the Canberra - Goulburn).

The work will involve data collection on the impacts of operating wind farms on birds and bats, implementation of bird and bat surveys at proposed and operating wind farm sites, data collation and analysis, and report writing.

The successful candidate should have a degree in ecology, preferably in zoology, and enjoy working in the field.  You must be able to identify birds in the field.

The position may suit someone further developing their zoological skills and interested in casual work. There may be periods when field trips involve several days away from home.
