Bowantz Bushfire & Environmental are currently working on a variety of environmental projects across a vast area including: Wollondilly Shire, Wollongong, Southern Highlands and the South Coast.

These projects include bush regeneration and weed control works, mine rehabilitation, habitat protection and nesting box instillation, fire mitigation, endangered species protection, tree planting, erosion control and a variety of other environmentally based projects.

Bowantz Bushfire & Environmental is seeking experienced bush regenerators/field officers/staff members to join our team.

Selection criteria

• 12 months min experience in bush regeneration or equivalent
• AQF3 Chemical Accreditation
• Chainsaw Ticket - AHCPCM203 Fell small trees
• White Card
• Own transport
• Boat licence & Exemption 38 ticket – not required but desirable

We are seeking people who have a passion for the environment, a positive can-do attitude and who excel at working well in a team. Progression to a team leader position would also be available to suitable qualified and experienced applicants.

Bowantz Bushfire & Environmental are currently offering above-award wages for suitably qualified candidates on a casual basis. We offer flexible employment options to our staff but would prefer a 3 day per week minimum availability.
