Fitzgerald River National Park is one of the largest and most botanically significant national parks in Australia. Within the park are found nearly 20 per cent of Western Australia’s flora species, many of which occur only within its boundaries. 

Under the limited direction of the District Manager, the Senior Operations Officer is responsible for the management and administration of the East Mt Barren work centre, the Fitzgerald River National Park (FRNP) and departmental operations within other departmental land and unallocated Crown land in the shires of Jerramungup and Ravensthorpe. 

Our ideal candidate will have considerable ability in natural resource management including environmental, recreational, fire, and reserve management as well as demonstrated leadership experience and interpersonal skills. 

The successful applicant will be required to possess or obtain a current and satisfactory National Police Check prior to commencement.
