We are looking for a motivated and experienced individual to join the Environmental Services (ES) Team at NBY.

Under the direction of the Manager Environmental Services, you will be responsible for working with the ES team including the Yawuru Country Managers, to ensure projects and work plans are developed and implemented for the Yawuru IPA.

You will assist Country Managers work in collaboration with key partners to combine traditional cultural knowledge with western science.

This role will require you to:

• Lead the development and Implementation of the Yawuru IPA Annual Work plan
• Review and monitor progress against the plan, via regular formal and informal reporting
• Work with County Managers to support their development in Environmental and Cultural Management
• Prepare bi-annual funding activity reports with ES manager
• Assist with bi annual funding budget reports

The ideal candidate will have

• Relevant tertiary qualifications
• Experience coordinating an NRM team or Indigenous Rangers
• Experience implementing cultural and NRM programs
• High level interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to build skills and capacity within a team
