Keen on environmental science communication? Fieldwork and scholarships with ANU and the Arboretum

The ANU Centre for the Public Awareness of Science (CPAS) and the National Arboretum Canberra have two places for Masters level study involving in-depth public engagement and fieldwork with the Arboretum. Keen?

Fees for the one-year Masters program are supported by a Commonwealth Supported Place, reducing fees by approximately 50% or $14,000 (with the rest able to be placed on HECS-HELP as usual).

Students will undertake an immersive highly-practical placement at the Arboretum comprising half the degree, including working on school and community programs, program creation and development, evaluation, and communicating the amazing living science of the Arboretum. They will also learn to communicate science to diverse audiences through the media, online, hands-on methods, storytelling, and more - including creating their own novel projects.

Honours, Grad. Cert./Dip., or equivalent postgrad qualification required for entry.
