About the role:

As a Hydraulic Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in completing flood and drainage investigations in urban catchments including design of flood mitigation measures and environmental assets. You will contribute to conserving water resources; protecting our wetlands and waterways; and improving liveability in our communities while working closely with other Water Technology groups, our clients and stakeholders. Data analysis, numerical modelling, problem solving, critical thinking and presenting results to clients in a digestible manner provide for an interesting & fascinating role.

Skills & experience:

• Bachelor of Civil Engineering (water speciality)
• 2 + years’ experience as engineer in relevant water related field
• Autonomy and limited supervision
• Excellent interpersonal & written communication skills
• Project management experience
• Strong report writing ability
• Ability to work independently
• Hydrological and hydraulic modelling engineering skills (MIKE and TUFLOW experience preferred)
• GIS and/or civil design skills (ArcGIS preferred)
