Aust Care Environmental Services is one of South East Queensland’s leading Natural Area Management organisations. With almost 20 years of experience, Aust Care delivers a wide range of Natural Area Management services to Local and State Government bodies, Public Utility Organisations, Civil Construction Companies, Private Developers, Mining Companies and other organisations.

The Environmental Operator position available will be responsible for working as part of a small professional team delivering on-ground works in a safe, effective and efficient manner.  Primary tasks will involve weed control and maintenance, vegetation removal, revegetation and planting projects, erosion and sediment control and other Natural Area Management works as required.

This is a Casual position, can lead to a Full time position for the right person.

Essential:

  • Driver’s License (Manual);
  • Own Transport;
  • Construction White Card.
  • Certificate III in Conservation and Land Management or similar or currently studying;
  • ACDC Licence;

Desirable Criteria:

  • Current First Aid/CPR;
  • Previous Experience in Natural Area Management works;
  • Good weed and native plant identification skills.

Advantageous:

  • Level 2 Chainsaw;
  • MR Licence.
