We are seeking a highly skilled professional to support MI’s Asset Strategy and Performance Team and develop the company’s understanding of the hydrological performance of its irrigation network. The successful applicant will significantly contribute to the effective lifecycle management of the infrastructure of one of the largest private irrigation companies in Australia.

Requirements include: relevant tertiary qualifications and experience; knowledge and experience with hydrological modelling systems; excellent analytical and computer skills; a high level of initiative; good verbal and written communication skills; the ability to cultivate good working relationships with stakeholders; proactive commitment to health and safety; and a ‘C’ class driver licence.

Applications should include a Murrumbidgee Irrigation application form and current resume, with a cover letter addressing ability to meet the following criteria.

  • Experience in reviewing and producing approved designs for hydraulic structures.
  • Ability to deliver models of the hydrological processes that underpin the operation and management of an irrigation network.
  • Experience in engaging and liaising with other teams to gain support and commitment of corporate goals.
