About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to support strategic fire management within NSW National Parks. The Fire and Incident Management Branch is responsible for coordination of the NPWS fire management program, in partnership with other NPWS branches. The Planning Unit is responsible for fire management policy setting and associated publications, including Living with Fire in NSW National Parks and the NPWS Fire Management Manual.

The Senior Planning Officer has a key role in the development, analysis and review of strategic fire management planning, policies and procedures to lead and support fire management in NSW National Parks and reserves.
