The Department of Tourism, Sport and Culture are looking for a dynamic and motivated leader to undertake the duties of District Manager, Central Australia Parks, based in Alice Springs in the ancient landscapes of Central Australia.

Our parks and reserves protect the natural and cultural heritage of the Northern Territory and offer incredible recreational opportunities for our locals and visitors alike. We’re offering you the opportunity to join our motivated and professional team.

The District Manager Central Australia Parks is responsible for overseeing the management of all NT ranger staff and parks in Central Australia including the Barkly region. These areas are rich in biodiversity, history and Aboriginal culture and include the spectacular Tjoritja/West MacDonnell National Park, Watarrka National Park, Rainbow Valley and Chambers Pillar Conservation Reserves.

This is your chance to coordinate conservation, visitor management and infrastructure management programs and work in partnership with the traditional owners in our jointly managed parks.
