Volunteer roles

The Western Port Catchment Landcare Network is seeking Committee (Board) members to contribute to the leadership and governance of the Network. A passion for the environment expressed in conservation, sustainable agriculture or horticulture is required along with an understanding of leadership and governance.

This is a volunteer role with an expected contribution of five to ten hours per month.

The Western Port Catchment Landcare Network is a voluntary run organisation supporting 12 Landcare groups across the Western Port region, east of Melbourne, with a mixture of peri-urban, rural communities, agricultural and natural landscapes.

Our Network partners with state and local government agencies, community organisations and landholders to deliver environmental works on public and private land and to educate members and the wider community on the importance of sustainable land management and biodiversity.

Whilst applicants with specific skills in areas such as bookkeeping, governance, strategic planning and completing funding applications would be of value, applicants with special interests in supporting on ground environmental activities and events are encouraged.
