Salary $90,000 - $115,000 p.a. Permanent position. Immediate start.

An exciting position is available for an experienced Project Manager. Base yourself in or around the Bowen/Collinsville district and work in a great supported organisation.

IPA is looking for an experience Grazier Project Manager for an immediate start with our client based in Bowen.

As part of the Sustainable Agriculture team, this position is primarily responsible for supporting NRM Implementation Team to provide effective leadership and management of staff, maintain a strong networks and relationship with key stakeholders, including government agencies, industry bodies, landholders, community groups, science and research community, contractors and delivery partners, particularly Sustainable Agriculture Grazing.


  • Formal qualifications in Project Management, Natural Resource Management, and Environmental Science, Agricultural Science or other relevant field and/or extensive relevant work including project management experience.
  • ‘C’ class driver’s licence is required.
  • Travel involving overnight stays may be required.
  • The position may be required to work outside of ordinary working hours

Key Responsibilities:

The Project Manager, Landholders Driving Change will be responsible for the delivery of the Landholders Driving Change Project in accordance with the Project Proposal(s) and direction of the project panel:

Project management and delivery

  • Effective and efficient management, and coordination of the LDC project.
  • Facilitate project planning and ongoing evaluation and review of the LDC project.
  • Identify, negotiate, and coordinate project resources required to successfully deliver the LDC project.
  • Develop, negotiate and manage project delivery contracts.
  • Management and monitoring of the project to ensure delivery of contracted milestones within budget and time frames.
  • Manage all reporting related to the LDC project, including contractual and monitoring and evaluation requirements.
  • Ensure effective communication, coordination and alignment of effort with other relevant projects and programs.
  • Oversee and coordinate project communications and engagement of the LDC project.
