Salary etc:

Salary range $92,784 - $98,143 p.a. (ASO6). Full-time.

  • Up to 5 year contract to 30.6.25
  • Landscape SA will support local communities and land managers
  • Focus is on sustainably managing the region’s natural resources

The Compliance Officer undertakes and oversees compliance with legislation concerning natural resources management, including pest plants and animals, soil and water, environment and heritage protection and animal welfare.

Experience in undertaking and managing investigations, knowledge of evidentiary procedures, interviewing techniques and preparation of reports is required.

Special Conditions

  • May be required to participate in fire management and associated duties
  • A current class “C” driver’s licence and willingness and ability to safely operate a 4WD is essential.
  • Inter and intrastate and remote area travel is required, including travel in light aircraft.
  • Work outside of normal hours of duty may be required.
  • This role has been designated as a Position of Trust pursuant to the standards required in the Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework. By applying for this role you consent to being screened under the process of obtaining a National Police Clearance (NPC) and to the Board requiring you to obtain an NPC.
