NGH is seeking an Environmental Consultant with 1-5 years’ experience focusing on environmental impact assessment. This position is full-time with a 12 months’ limited duration contract, based in our Newcastle office.
The successful applicant will have a bachelor’s degree in environmental science, or similar. We are seeking someone who is passionate about the environment and has the ability to undertake field trips (generally 2-5 days) to support our senior consultants and specialists.
This role involves the delivery of environmental impact assessment and construction environmental management.
You will use your knowledge of environmental legislation to provide clients with advice. You will work with discipline experts to minimise impacts and deliver projects. You will work alongside specialist subconsultants across a range of disciplines.
We provide environmental services to private and public-sector clients. NGH has strong environmental, social, and ethical standards. We provide sustainable knowledge-based solutions and advice for environmental management and impact assessment. NGH provides flexibility in the workplace and support for professional development.
The majority of our work is in renewable energy and linear infrastructure across NSW, ACT and Queensland. We are leaders in renewable energy constraints assessment, impact assessment and environmental management planning. This is a challenging and exciting industry.
