We have offices in Toowoomba, Roma and Charleville and Goondiwindi and are determined to help our region be all that it can be – ethical, sustainable, biodiverse, and profitable.  We are hungry for new ways to deliver better outcomes for our region and its communities.

We need a Project Officer (graduate) to be based in our Roma Office to help us deliver for our communities and our landscapes.

The job:

  1. Embrace and promote our mission, vision and culture internally and externally
  2. Work closely with other members of the team to implement initiatives relevant to the issues and the environment in which SQ Landscapes operates
  3. Support the high standard of delivery of services and contracts for our customers and our company
  4. Contribute to the continuous improvement of the systems and processes that facilitate project management and technical rigour
  5. Support the development and maintenance of key contact information to help ensure effective communication and relationships
  6. Assist the ongoing development of SQ landscapes business and business relationships
  7. Contribute to project and program planning; monitoring, evaluation, reporting and improvement
  8. Provide timely information on the implementation, achievements and performance pf projects and/or initiatives
  9. Embrace the culture and behaviour for safety and wellbeing
  10. Other responsibilities appropriate to the role. 

About you:

  • Formal qualifications in environmental, agricultural science or related field
  • Commitment to teamwork and collaborative behaviour
  • Ability to work as an effective team member.
  • Ability to work unsupervised including good time management skills
  • A current drivers licence.
