Title:

Environmental Field Officer

Advertiser:

4T Consultants Pty Ltd

Location:

Emerald, Queensland

We have an opportunity for an Environmental Field Officer to join a private, boutique environmental consultancy based in Queensland. This position does not require an undergraduate degree, but it would suit someone studying a science discipline.

We are growing very quickly, and need a good, steady field officer enviro to help in this growth process.

The Field Officer will perform field testing which includes collection, recording, dispatch of environmental samples and technical maintenance of equipment.

After a learning period, typically 3 months, when you are assessed as competent by a senior environmental officer, you will be able to take up management of some projects.

Much of our work is conducted on mining and industrial sites, so previous experience in a resources industry role would be very helpful. Expertise with groundwater and surface water would be a great advantage. Over many years, we have developed particular expertise in groundwater and surface water sampling, so a willingness to conduct field work is very important.

Our workplace is about doing what we do extremely well, and enjoying it. If you are looking for a new adventure, where you will learn lots, as well as make a contribution to your community and environment. If you're longing to be relieved of the strictures of working for a giant corporation, this just may be the change of job that you need.
