Job Description:

Native Habitat is looking for enthusiastic bush crew members who are qualified with onsite experience to join our small team.

As a bush crew member your duties will include:

• Working onsite as part of a team to complete daily work schedules.
• Weed control using various measures including: Rig and knapsack herbicide application, woody weed control via hand weeding, cut'n'paint and drill'n'fill methodology.
• Bushland revegetation and natural area restoration.

About you:

Essential qualifications

• Tertiary TAFE / University with a minimum of Certificate 3 in Conservation and Land Management or similar.
• Current manual driver’s license & own vehicle
• Agricultural chemical uses permit (ACUP)
• Construction Induction Card (Red/White Card)
• Working with Children check

Experience (Highly regarded but not essential)

• Sound knowledge of indigenous plant ID and introduced weed ID.
• Experience in weed control methods including hand weeding, cut’n’paint & drill’n’fill.
• Experience in weed control methods utilising knapsacks and rig spraying.
• Experience in revegetation via planting.
• Experience with plant such as Brush cutters, Chainsaws and Chippers
