Seeking a Conservation Development Business Officer on an initial volunteer basis which may lead to paid work if the role is successful.


The Moyne and Corangamite Shires are some of the most cleared landscapes in the world. The role will work closely with the business owner of Southern Conservation as we campaign both shires to employ a team of Conservation Scientists. Must have skills or an interest in conservation as well as strong negotiating and business skills.

Also must be able to work with stakeholders of the area such such as Farmers, Energy Developers and other Volunteers. The role will have an initial timeframe of 6 months campaining before re-assessment.

This is a business and we aim to make a profit out of saving listed flora and fauna of the working areas such as the Brolga and Orange-Bellied Parrot to name but a few, please see the SWIFFT website for more details of listed flora and fauna we will aim to work with.
