Workpower Environmental Services is one of the largest environmental companies within WA and offers a wide range of environmental services associated with revegetation and rehabilitation projects including seedling installation, flora & fauna management, erosion control, weed control, local provenance seed collection and coastal stabilisation.

The team has extensive experience in implementing a wide range of environmental management projects throughout WA.

About the role

The role of an Environmental Technician is to assist in the implementation of environmental rehabilitation projects throughout the Perth Metropolitan area. Be part of a positive and dedicated team and gain exposure and experience working on our many revegetation and rehabilitation projects.

What the role involves

  • Seedling installation
  • Environmental weed control
  • Plant installation of dryland and riparian tube stock
  • Direct seed broadcasting of native seed species
  • Environmental weed control within revegetation/rehabilitation areas

Essential criteria

  • C class (manual) driver’s licence with own transport
  • Available to work Monday to Friday from 6:30am – 3:00pm
  • Valid White Card
  • Valid Police Clearance (less than 3 months old)
  • Ability to identify native and non-native plant plants
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of safe working practices


  • A current herbicide licence
  • 4WD experience
  • Knowledge of Swan Coastal flora
  • Weed control experience
  • Available to undertake night shift works if required from Monday to Friday 8:00 pm - 4:30 am
