We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic person to lead teams of volunteers on our conservation programs working in the Adelaide region. As a CVA Conservation Officer, you will be working on projects in both local and remote locations, being responsible for the safety, welfare and supervision of volunteers. Our major programs include a range of practical activities to protect threatened species, repair wetlands, plant trees and maintain walking trails and the like. Our projects range from single day activities to larger projects of 10 days’ duration.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
For this role, we are seeking a person with experience in brushcutting, weed control and plant identification.
Preferably, candidates should hold Senior or Level II First Aid and have an up-to-date Working with Children Check. This position would ideally suit a local candidate and preference will be given to applicants already living within the region.
