Wurundjeri Woi-Wurrung have a team of experienced natural resource managers known as the Narrap Rangers. We are passionate and committed to creating opportunities for Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung and other Aboriginal people to have culturally meaningful, permanent work that supports professional development, and the continued management of Country.

The Narrap Team works in Natural Resource Management (NRM), which is the integrated management of the natural resources making up our environment, including land, water, soil, plants and animals.

We are currently seeking a passionate and motivated NRM crew leader to undertake environmental works within Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung Country.


  • Minimum of a Certificate III in Conservation and Land Management or similar
  • Minimum of 3 years previous experience in Conservation/Land Management
  • Knowledge of environmental tasks/ NRM techniques including herbicide application using knapsacks and high-volume rig equipment, hand weeding, woody weed removal, revegetation works, brush cutting, GPS mapping, etc
  • Ability to identify indigenous and exotic flora species
  • Ability to manage and work in a team environment by working effectively with colleagues
  • Current certificates/licenses:
  • Chainsaw Level 1. Operate & Maintain Chainsaws. (Desirable)
  • Ability to operate four-wheel drive vehicle

Must Have

  • Chemcert or ACUP
  • Current Victorian Drivers Licence
  • Construction OHS Induction card (White/ Red Card)
  • First Aid Level 2

This position is based in Healesville, with travel to jobsites required

Please note that this job is physically demanding and there is a requirement to work in all weather conditions.

Position requires a Fit for Work medical Assessment.
