Landscape Conservation is a modern Australian company established in 2006 using practical science, up to date equipment and technology to deliver quality land management outcomes. We employ team members from a vast array of backgrounds, combining skills to achieve quality outcomes in land management, conservation, agriculture, horticulture, bush regeneration and landscape construction.

Landscape Conservation seeks individuals with experience and a desire to develop their skills to assume the role of Field Officer – Land Management and Conservation.

This employment opportunity will allow the successful applicants to demonstrate their practical skills and experience across a broad scope of conservation and land management projects.

The appointed candidate/s will have the opportunity to assume a permanent position within the company based on performance, enthusiasm and teamwork. We have opportunities for various applicants depending on individual interests and experience and we can discuss flexible working arrangements and future career progression.

Our working environment is open and interesting and our staff diverse. You won’t be spraying weeds day-in-day-out. We are currently working on projects involving walking track construction, large and small scale bushland revegetation and maintenance, fencing, planting, erosion control and general landscaping.

Selection Criteria:


  • Experience in identification of native and introduced plants in Southeast Queensland
  • Experience in the operation and maintenance of vehicles, pumps, hand tools and small engine powered equipment
  • Experience in land management activities such as weed and erosion control, fencing, track construction, landscaping, equipment operation and/or revegetation
  • Physically fit, motivated and capable of working in challenging environments
  • Own transport and ideally a manual C class vehicle license
  • Current construction safety card and steel cap boots


  • Qualifications in agriculture, horticulture, conservation, NRM or similar.
  • Senior First Aid certificate
  • ACDC certification
  • Skid steer loader operator’s certificate
  • MR license
  • Chainsaw operator’s certificate


  • Hands on involvement in landscape construction and bushland regeneration, including but not limited to weed control, tree planting, erosion control, track construction, fencing, landscape construction and general landscape maintenance
  • Operate and maintain plant and equipment associated with project implementation
  • Ensure completion of work to established targets and timeframes
  • Demonstrate safe working practices across all projects and ensure compliance with appropriate safety planning and procedures.
