$90,820.60 - $105,351.48 p/a + super. Fixed Term contract - 12 months (35 hours per week).



Located 16 km’s north of the Sydney CBD, the Ku-ring-gai area covers 84km2, is home to 124,000 residents and is set in one of New South Wales’ most attractive natural environments.

The BBP program assists businesses of the North Shore to improve their sustainability performance. Council is currently seeking applications from suitably qualified and experienced professionals for the role of BBP Program Coordinator

Reporting to the Manager Environment & Sustainability, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate the BBP program across all partner Councils
  • Coordinate the recruitment and retainment of businesses to the BBP program
  • Manage the promotional and communication activities and content for the BBP program
  • Coordinate the delivery of the BBP event series
  • Manage consultants, contractors and suppliers to achieve key program deliverables
  • Manage BBP program systems, including the BBP CRM and online business appraisal system
  • Conduct and report on BBP program monitoring and evaluation
  • Manage the BBP program budget and ensure resources are used effectively

Required Qualifications/Certificates:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and /or substantial relevant work experience
  • Current Class C Driver’s Licence

Required experience/skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in the design and management of sustainability engagement programs
  • Demonstrated marketing and communications experience in a sustainability context
  • Previous experience with managing staff, contractors and suppliers to achieve outcomes
  • Ability to monitor and evaluate sustainability and behavioural change programs
  • Excellent written and oral communication, report writing and presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, conflict resolution and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated project management, financial management and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Able to work flexible work hours, including evening and weekends, when required
