Are you passionate about bushland, remnant vegetation and community education?

As a Conservation Projects Officer, you'll have the opportunity to implement grants and other projects in our natural areas, working with other landholders to achieve collaborative land management outcomes. You will also spread the word about our parks, natural reserves and other areas of remnant vegetation throughout our diverse community.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating the delivery of a number of bushland grant projects, including the Peri-Urban Weed Management Partnerships Initiative
  • Facilitative a multi-stakeholder project working group
  • Coordinating a wide range of revegetation, maintenance, development and other associated tasks
  • Preparation and implementation of revegetation works programs
  • Facilitating community engagement programs.

A qualification in an appropriate discipline or equivalent experience will be highly regarded.
