The Threatened Flora Ecologist is responsible for reducing the risk of extinction of threatened flora species within the Region by increasing the protection and improving management of key populations and their habitat on private and public land through: the collection and analysis of information; provision of advice; engagement of key stakeholders; development of policies, procedures and guidelines; and by facilitating the delivery of on-ground threat abatement activities.

Essential Qualifications: An appropriate Bachelor Degree in Ecology, Conservation Biology or equivalent is essential.
