Due to our Company’s continued and sustained growth we have an exciting opportunity for an Environmental Scientist to join and learn from our team of dynamic and highly respected environmental professionals in our Wollongong office (based in Austinmer).

The role will primarily involve undertaking and managing environmental impact assessments, involving multiple issues such as ecology, water quality, bushfire, heritage, air, noise and waste. You will be exposed to a variety of projects and clients and work as part of the broader Sydney/Metropolitan team.

We are seeking people with:

  • A Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental management, Planning or related field
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in undertaking and project managing environmental impact projects, involving multiple issues such as ecology, water quality, bushfire, heritage, air, noise and waste
  • Knowledge and understanding of NSW/Federal legislation and offsetting policies/schemes
  • Experience in the Sydney basin preferable
  • Confidence in meeting, advising and working with clients and regulators
  • Experienced MS Excel and MS Word user
  • Sound communication skills and demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with others both internally and externally
  • Sound scientific writing and time/project management skills
  • Current drivers licence
