  • 38 hours per week/9 day fortnight

Council is seeking a suitably experienced Groundsperson to carry out maintenance on course greens and garden areas in the Ku-ring-gai municipality, ensuring they are maintained at the highest standard. 

Reporting to the Team Leader – Golf Courses, your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Golf course and garden maintenance
  • Weed control
  • Turf maintenance
  • Small tree pruning and removal
  • Rubbish removal and litter pickup
  • Operation of plant equipment

This is a great opportunity for a hands-on person who possesses the ability to work collaboratively in a team while ensuring safe, yet efficient operational standards on a daily basis.

To be considered for this role, you will require a Class C driver’s licence, experience in golf course maintenance and sound working knowledge of turf preparation and maintenance. Experience operating tractors and golf course mowers is also required along with a Current First Aid Certificate, WHS white card and Chemsmart/Smartrain – or a willingness to undertake training to obtain these qualifications.
