The Mallee Catchment Management Authority (CMA) has an exciting new opportunity for a vibrant, enthusiastic and delivery focused Project Compliance Officer to join our organisation.

This role is perfect for an inspiring project manager keen to build on the foundation of their contract management experience. A proven team player, the successful candidate will bring exceptional communication skills (both written and oral) with a proven ability to build strong relationships in a dynamic environment with changing priorities.

An energetic, people-focused and process-driven approach is required, with the proven ability to provide exceptional customer service and deliver successful outcomes. One who thrives in, and enjoys, the challenge of a fast paced and multi-project environment will enjoy success in this role.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Project reporting including milestones and budget reports
  • Contract management and procurement
  • Coordination of project delivery outcomes
  • Policy review and improvement for project delivery frameworks
  • Partnering with managers to meet compliance requirements for projects

As an emerging, successful contract/project professional the person appointed to this position will have a sound knowledge of contract management practices and procurement as demonstrated through experience within a previous project/contract management function.

It requires a pro-active approach to driving process improvement opportunities, excellent time management skills and a proven capability to deliver on organisational reporting requirements. Important to the role is the ability to partner with managers to deliver project reporting outcomes and develop ongoing relationships, and it is a must to enjoy working in a team environment and have a willingness to assist and provide professional services to others.

The position requires experience in project reporting, contract management and a good understanding of project principles.  Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
