Located near the beautiful Mornington Peninsula, Peninsula Kingswood Country Golf Club is a private member owned country club with members currently enjoying golf over 36 holes on two locations. This private club will offer the finest in Sandbelt Golf in a country club environment with “state of the art” facilities.

Peninsula Kingswood Country Golf Club, invites applications for an individual to join a newly formed Horticulture / Vegetation Team at the Frankston site.

Applicants must have a keen interest in native vegetation, fine turf management and be able to understand the game of golf.

The successful applicant will have the unique opportunity to be part of the North and South Courses redevelopment with aspirations of presenting the courses at industry leading standards. They will be trained in all aspects and have the necessary interest and personal qualities required for the role.

The successful applicants will have:

  • Certificate III in Horticulture qualification (Parks & Gardens or similar is required)
  • Chemical Spray certification
  • Chainsaw certificate (preferable)
  • Arboriculture qualifications or experience (preferable)
  • Previous experience operating ground maintenance machinery
  • Understanding of OH&S and environmental requirements of a Golf Course
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Current Australian driver’s license

Applicants must have experience in the maintenance and propagation of native vegetation, previous turf management experience will also be highly considered.

We are looking for applicants with a strong work ethic, team orientated, an eye for detail, strong desire to succeed and be able to adapt to challenges of the golf course environment.
