The Environment Officer assists in developing and implementing conservation programs and projects and provides advice and support to the Conservation Manager. The role undertakes activities including conservation of and the protection and restoration of the reserves natural marine and terrestrial environment and its species to meet statutory and strategic goals defined in management plans, strategies and annual business plans.
The Environment Officer plays a key role in the development, review and reporting of the Rottnest Islands Conservation Management Strategies and the implementation of the associated research, monitoring and operational programs.
